Hospitality, Connections and Member Care Team

 
The Hospitality, Connections and Member Care team focuses on three areas:
  1. Offering superb hospitality to our members and visitors. This includes overseeing the work of greeters and ushers, the set/up and clean up of after-service coffee and treats, and the scheduling of treat providers. The goal is not just to provide food and drink, but to provide a hospitable time after services for members of the church community to be together.
  2. Connecting our members, potential visitors and guests with one another and the church community. "Doing church" is not just about attending worship services. It's about becoming part of a community. The HCMC team helps connect our members and friends to others and to the mission of the chruch - encouraging the participation in opportunities for spiritual growth, missions and the life of the church. Classes are available for indidivuals who are interested in formally joining the church.
  3. Paying attention to each other. We don't want to "get into your business" but we want to know if there is some way your church community can offer support in trying times - which come to all of us sooner or later. HCMC strives to make sure we all have the support we need in those times.
