Prayer Shawls/Blankets
This ministry provides:
- Prayer Shawls - hand-knitted or crocheted shawls for members/friends of the church who are struggling with illness
- Welcome Baby Blankets - crocheted baby afghans for new babies in the congregation
- Prayer Wraps - fleece "tied" blankets that are given to ill/hospitalized children
Participants knit/crochet/tie as they pray for the people who receive them. They work on their gifts at home and meet occasionally to care for each other. If you are interested in learning more, contact Susan Payne, Parish Nurse, at 608.835.3755, Ext 24.
Monetary gifts to help cover the cost of yarn are always welcome!
